I have attended a session created for our team by Nadja. Nadja is a flexible and intuitive facilitator who shaped the training to what we needed and wanted to spend more time on during the session. She provided everyone with practical tools to help recognise and deal with stress and anxiety in the daily workplace. The delivery to the team gave a forum to express opinions and provide an opportunity for the team to be on the same page regarding what may work for some when dealing with stress. Working in IT offers a lot of brilliant minds solving technology problems for businesses. Unfortunately, with passion to solve problems comes a passion for the ‘way’ to solve problems. Our team was struggling to convey their opinions in a respectful manner, and our company was failing to promote an environment where peers could voice their opinions to collaboratively solve problems. Relationships deteriorated as a result of past decisions and previous arguments, and staff were unable to let the past rulings remain in the past, resulting in uncomfortable and combative tension over every topic.

We asked Nadja to come into our office and deliver a workshop to help the team learn to disagree with each other in a respectful manner, and also teach the staff valuable skills in order to work more closely together and put the past behind them. Nadja provided a number of techniques and communication methods to both prevent and also diffuse the tension in situations as they saw it arising. The team were given the tools across a number of communication mechanisms to improve their ability to work as a team, and we definitely saw a positive impact and spike in more collaboration between peers who previously were unable to work together.

Nadja was very respectful in her delivery of the session and was also kind enough to provide valuable insight for managers to better manage both their employees, as well as situations, after the session.

The Resilience session run by GMU was a fantastic experience. The trainer was friendly, engaging and delivered excellent content. My overall experience was extremely positive. I learned useful new resilience techniques which I applied straight away to my work and personal life. The session was great value.

What I liked most about the session was the methodology of how the trainer delivered the session: new topics were introduced at a natural rate, the information was delivered in a way that was easy to understand, the trainer was consistent at keeping the audience engaged and maintained energy over the duration of the session.

I would absolutely recommend GMU to others, particularly if they are organisations working in complex industries with dynamic operating environments and evolving customer requirements.
